You know AI could help. Knowing where to start is harder.

  • New tools appear every week.
  • The advice is endless, and often contradicts itself.
  • And you’ve still got a business to run.

That’s where Forwardwise comes in.

We don’t start with a list of tools. We start by understanding how your business works, then find the few changes that would make a real difference, and help you make them.

What changes for your business

Not more technology for the sake of it. Four things a small business actually feels.

  • Save time

Less repetitive, manual work. More hours for the work only you can do.

    1. Done by hand
    2. Streamlined
    3. Runs itself, checked by you
  • Cut unnecessary costs

Find the inefficient ways of working and replace them with better ones.

    1. Paying for workarounds
    2. Simplified
    3. Spending where it counts
  • Create room to grow

Spot where technology can support sales, marketing, service and capacity.

    1. Opportunities missed
    2. Spotted
    3. Acted on
  • Build capability in your people

Help your team understand AI and use it with confidence.

    1. Unsure where to start
    2. Trying it out
    3. Using it every day

We start with your business, not the technology.

Plenty of people will sell you a tool and then look for somewhere to use it. We work the other way round.

First we learn how your business runs: where the time goes, what slows people down, where opportunities slip past. Only then do we look at what AI and modern technology could do about it.

AI isn’t the strategy. Improving the business is.

  1. Your businessHow it runs today, and what’s getting in the way.
  2. The outcomeTime back, lower costs, room to grow.
  3. Your peopleWho does the work, and what they need to feel confident.
  4. Then the technologyOnly where it genuinely helps.

One route, travelled again and again

Our method has five stops. The audit covers the first two. The partnership keeps going round, because a business that works well is never quite finished.

Opportunity Audit

  1. Understand

    How your business really runs.

We learn how work moves through the business, where the time goes and what keeps getting in the way.

  2. Identify

    The changes worth making.

We find and rank opportunities by the difference they would make to your business, not by how new the technology is.

Partnership

  1. Implement

    Practical improvements, put in place.

We put the changes in place, using AI, automation and modern tools where they genuinely help, and simpler fixes where they don’t.

  2. Empower

    Your people, confident with it.

We help your team understand what has changed and build the confidence to use AI in their own work.

  3. Improve

    Measure, learn, go again.

We check what is working, look for the next opportunity and keep improving as your business and the tools change.

Two ways to work together

Most businesses start with an audit. It’s useful on its own, and there’s no obligation to go further.

We get to know how your business runs, find where AI and modern technology could help, and rank the opportunities by the difference they’d make.

  • A clear picture of what could improve, and why it matters
  • Priorities ranked by likely impact

Why Forwardwise

Business first
Technology should solve a real problem. If it doesn’t, we won’t recommend it.
Practical implementation
Recommendations should lead to action. We help you make the change, not just describe it.
Bring your people with you
Change sticks when your team understands it and feels confident using it.
Continuous improvement
Your business changes and so does the technology. We keep looking for the next improvement.

Sensible about risk

New technology should make your business more reliable, not less. Every change follows the same habits.

  • The right tools. Established, well-supported tools chosen for the job, not for novelty.
  • Careful with data. We look at what information is involved before anything is connected.
  • People stay in charge. Important decisions keep a person in the loop.
  • Tested first. Changes are tried on real work before your team relies on them.

Common questions answered

Why we started Forwardwise

Small businesses should be able to benefit from AI without having to become AI experts.

The tools aren’t hard to find. Knowing which ones matter for your business, and making them stick with your team, is the hard part. That’s the work we do.

We’re a small, founder-led consultancy based in Basingstoke, working with businesses across Hampshire and the UK. You’ll work directly with the person doing the thinking, not be handed between departments.

More about us

What’s getting in the way of your business working better?

Tell us how things work today. We’ll listen, ask a few questions and give you an honest view of where AI and better ways of working could help. If we can’t help, we’ll say so.

No hard sell. Just a conversation about where your business could work better.

Because the goal isn’t to use more AI. It’s to build a better business.
